The federal government is moving swiftly to revise its 1988 National Space Policy to address continuing changes in commercial launch vehicles, satellites and spaceports, said Frank Weaver, director of the Transportation Department's Office of Commercial Space Transportation (OCST).
Weaver said in a news briefing last week he considers revamping the nation's space policy to be the OCST's "highest priority," reports our sister publication Satellite News.
