Scott Rimmer has been named VP of sales for Linotype-Hell's North American office, where he will manage both the direct sales force and the dealer channel. He comes from Digital Equipment, where he served in senior management positions; he also spent time as America's marketing manager for Microsoft Windows NT.

Also, Linotype-Hell AG announced that Karl Heinz Midunsky is leaving his post on the executive board and his role in charge of finance, legal matters and information systems, effective Aug. 31, to take a position with Siemens. He will be replaced by Volker Dawedeit, who has been a senior executive with Unisys Deutschland since 1990.

Indigo has appointed John Icke VP and general manager of its worldwide packaging business. In addition, Indigo America has named Yaron Ziv marketing technical manager …
