Equipped with 20 hp spindle with 2-speed gearbox head that provides full power at 305 rpm, SV-48H is 50-taper VMC built for heavy cutting applications. It performs stable cutting with rapids of 944 ipm on fully supported, 3,300 lb capacity table that has zero overhang. While Class 7 steel bearings permit standard spindle speeds to 6,000 rpm, optional hybrid ceramic bearings enable speeds to 10,000 rpm. Other features include 4 square box ways on Y axis, Fanuc OiM-C control, and ATC.
