While Rams players are heating it up on the practice field, the team's newly-acquired marketing staff is looking for some big scores.

The Rams marketing staff is pitching more than $6 million in sponsorships, team promotions and advertising at the domed stadium, including the auctioning of the rights to name the stadium.

Bob Wallace, who heads up the Rams office here as vice president of administration, has hired Patrick McLean as director of merchandising. McLean, a veteran of 20 years in the marketing business, is responsible for developing and implementing retail, special event and concessionaire product-related sales programs.
