That's how Pete Adkins did it at Jefferson City (MO) H.S. for 37 Years

COACH: Did you play football as a kid? Where did you attend high school and what positions did you play?

ADKINS: I was raised in Mexico, MO, a small town in the north central part of the state. I played all the sports as a youngster, but settled on football and basketball in high school. Mexico High didn't have a baseball team and I did not opt to participate in track & field, probably because I was slow. In high school, I played offensive guard and linebacker and did the same when I went off to college.
