State clears The Academy in business practices probe. (Academy of Industrial Health Consultants)

A Longwood managed health care group whose business practices were under state scrutiny has been cleared of wrongdoing, according to a financial investigator with the Florida Attorney General's economic crimes unit.

"This investigation has failed to uncover any evidence which would substantiate the ... allegations" made against The Academy of Industrial Health Consultants, writes Larry A. Schuchman in a July 10 memorandum. "There was no pattern of complaints associated with deceptive business practices. This investigation will be closed, with no further action pending."
