Reach your children
I have enjoyed the Stint at the Wheel columns in the past. The latest, by Nick Emmanouilides ("The Rambler and `I Spy,' '' Dec. 24, 2007), brought back memories of road trips with my family while I was growing up. I feel that the games we played developed the lines of communication between me and my parents that carried on through the tough teenage years. Those lines of communication probably kept me out of trouble as I grew up. The very valid point the column makes is that if you do not communicate with your children at a young age, how are you going to do it later?
