C How would you describe House of Dereon's style?
B It's very feminine. A lot of the dresses have really sexy necklines and silhouettes, which complement a woman's body.
C Speaking of sexy necklines, any tips for avoiding a wardrobe malfunction while wearing one?
B A lot of our dresses have built-in bras, because it's sometimes hard to find the right undergarments for dresses with low-cut necklines. Also, use double-stick tape when under-garments can't be concealed easily under your dress, and tape [from the base to the top] to create lift.
C Tina, how did you end up becoming the wardrobe stylist for Destiny's Child?
T It was out of necessity. They were like 15 or 16 but looked older. I was there to be their voice. I remember going to an army-surplus store to look for camouflage fabric. They wore it on MTV, and Wyclef Jean said, "You need to style them all the time." I would buy beautiful fabric and make them outfits. But I was also the one doing their hair and carrying the luggage!
