Edwards takes helm; Doolittle to do less
Information International and Autologic will merge their operations after completion of a deal under which Triple-I acquires 100% of Autologic. As part of the deal, Autologic's parent company, Volt Information Sciences, will gain 58% ownership of the merged company, which will be called Information International.
The deal was announced at the Nexpo show on June 26 after the signing of a letter of intent by Volt and Triple-I. It has already been approved by the chairmen of the respective companies, but is still subject to the usual conditions: the execution of a definitive agreement, approval of the respective boards of directors and Triple-I shareholders, completion of due diligence and regulatory approval. No one anticipates any problems. The target for completion is 60-90 days after the announcement, or just before the IFRA show Oct. 9-12 in Amsterdam. …
