As a loyal subscriber to the smartest publication on the planet, I would like to express my disappointment over the violation of the Third Commandment in the title of Mr. Buckley's new book (advertised on page 59 of the November 19 issue). I am not so naive as to think that WFB's vocabulary is pure as the wind-driven snow; yet surely his correspondence contained another memorable quote that could have been transformed into an equally memorable title. Instead, the book vainly bears the Lord's name in BIG BLACK CAPITAL LETTERS, for all His creation to read. (Ah, if only all creation had the literary and political sense to read WFB and NATIONAL REVIEW.)
