The baby name Danica, Slavic for "morning star,'' has seen a steady rise in hospital nurseries since 2005, when Danica Patrick led the Indianapolis 500 and was the IndyCar Series rookie of the year. In 2005, Danica was No. 610, and it jumped to 352 in 2006, says an Indy Racing League press release.

VW to D.C.

Newly installed Volkswagen president and CEO Stefan Jacoby announced that VW (with Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti) will move from its Michigan headquarters to the outskirts of Washington, D.C., in Virginia. The reason? They want to be nearer to potential terrorist attacks? They seek increased humidity in the summer? No, they want to be closer to their customers.

Huh?
