TriRod calls the F3 Adrenaline the world's first production performance three-wheeled motorcycle, and we have no basis to dispute the claim. Unlike traditional trikes, the F3 has two wheels in front and a single wheel in back, which the company says improves cornering stability and reduces rollover resistance. It also uses technology developed for Formula One and aerospace applications in its design, including a front suspension of double unequal A-arms with inboard shocks and a monoshock rear, with a steel frame dressed in carbon-fiber body panels. Power comes from a 120-cid twin-cam motor throwing down more than 120 hp at the wheel. Of course, all that performance comes at a high price: MSRP is $54,995. (www.trirodmotorcycles.com)
