Safety Patrol
The same folks who supply Cadillac with its innovative lane-departure-warning system now make its products available in aftermarket form. The Mobileye AWS-4000 packages three systems into a single unit: Forward Collision Warning, which warns the driver of an imminent crash; Lane Departure Warning, which sends out an alert if the car unintentionally wanders from its lane; and Headway Monitoring and Warning, which helps the driver maintain a safe following distance.
