Coupler acts as gateway between I/O terminals.(Beckhoff Automation Introduces BK1250 Compact I/O Coupler)
Acting as bridge between company's original Bus Terminal I/O line and high-speed EtherCAT Terminals, Model BK1250 converts EtherCAT's E-bus signal so data can be passed over original I/O terminals, all on same node. EtherCAT protocol can process 1,000 distributed I/O in 30 [micro]s or 100 axes in 100 [micro]s using twisted pair or fiber optic cable.
