Biscom Inc. last month announced the FaxCom Translation Server, Version 1.0, a Windows 3.x program that works in conjunction with Biscom's LAN-based fax server software to automatically convert LAN based E-mail attachments to fax format. The product translates Word 6.x, Excel 5.x, PowerPoint 4.x, Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows 4.x, and WordPerfect for Windows 6.x files to fax format. Shipping in mid-August, it will cost $1,995.
