From the receptionist to the company director, finding and retaining the right people, in a candidate-short marketplace, has never been as challenging.
Of course, one solution is to partner with a recruitment company. But simply choosing the recruitment company can be a trial in itself.
There are many pitfalls to look out for when assessing a recruitment firm. Does it have a history of success? Can it offer skills not currently available in your company? Does it have the experience and understanding of your sector?
Ask for a candidate replacement guarantee
One key aspect that employers should expect is an appropriate guarantee period. Essentially this is the period of time a recruitment company is willing to back their candidate in the new role. If the new person does not work out, the recruitment company should replace them at no charge.
Beilby offers a two-year guarantee. We partner with our clients and, if the new recruit leaves in the first six months, we will replace them. If, in the following 18 months, the new recruit is dismissed for not meeting their KPIs, Beilby will also replace them. Beilby offers protection for our clients' investments.
