Nov. 1--A couple of weeks ago, not many people in the swimming community had heard of Harmony High School.
"People would think we were a private school," said Terry Brown, Harmony's coach.
But after Harmony's boys dominated districts and then upset Satellite Beach in the Class 2A, Region 2 meet Saturday, heads have begun to turn toward the public school in Osceola County.
"They would always ask, 'Who's Harmony?' or ask us where we're located," Brown said. "Now we can tell them who we are."
Harmony will look to put even more people on notice at the state meet this weekend at the Central Florida YMCA Aquatic Center (8422 International Dr.).
The 1A meet will be today, the 2A meet Friday and the 3A meet Saturday. Admission is $8, and competition begins each day at 9 a.m.
