Oct. 31--NIAGARA FALLS -- The tone of a 90-minute mayoral debate between Candra C. Thomason and Paul A. Dyster turned tense during the final few questions Tuesday night as the candidates attempted to differentiate themselves.
In her closing remarks, Thomason showcased a vote she cast in 2003 while she was on the City Council against a renegotiated agreement with Niagara Falls Redevelopment and took aim at a vote Dyster made in support of the contract.
"I tried to tell people they would do nothing," said Thomason, the Republican nominee.
