Oct. 31--PORTER -- Two Republican incumbents seeking second terms on the Town Board will face an ex-councilman and a political newcomer at the polls Tuesday.

Jeffrey P. Baker, from a wellknown farming family, and Lawrence H. White, a contract coordinator for DuPont in Niagara Falls, are being challenged by a pair of Democrats -- former Board Member William A. Choboy and Sandra Sanger Tuck, who is making her first bid for public office.

Sanger Tuck and Choboy are running on the Democratic and Positive Change party lines. Baker and White have secured the Republican, Independence and Conservative lines.

Management of growth in this agricultural community is on the mind of each candidate.
