Oct. 31--Here's a look at this week's area high school football games.

--GARDNER EDGERTON (6-3) at LANSING (8-1): 7 p.m. Friday. The clock operator should have an easy time with this one. Both teams emphasize the running game, and do it well.

Gardner Edgerton comes into this matchup with wins in three of its last four games, with the only loss in that span coming against undefeated Blue Valley West. Lansing, meanwhile, hasn't lost since the second week of the season.
