International Shipholding Corp., which is discontinuing its LASH barge-carrier operations, reported third-quarter net income of $2.34 million, compared with a net loss of $936,000 for the year-ago period.   Excluding the company's discontinued LASH operations, net income was $3.43 million, compared to $3.79 million in the third quarter of 2006. Revenue rose to $147.1 million from $140.1 million.   For the nine months through Sept. 30, net income was $14.01 million, compared with a net loss of $5.31 million a year earlier.
