Oct. 28--Kathy Elling says she and the rest of the staff at David Cox Road Elementary School learned a lot about themselves and their methods while serving as guinea pigs for a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools evaluation that is part of the system's heightened effort to improve education.
"It was a good experience for all of us," says Elling, principal at the school, which was among about 20 that participated in a test run of the evaluation program.
