Oct. 26--Gov. Ernie Fletcher ended a day of campaigning with a stop in Owensboro on Thursday, where he worked to show voters the differences between himself and his opponent.
Fletcher, a Republican who is running for a second term against Democratic challenger Steve Beshear, spoke to about 100 supporters in the RiverPark Center balcony. Fletcher touted some of his initiatives during the term, but he spent much of his time indirectly attacking Beshear -- a former lieutenant governor and attorney general -- on moral issues.
