The Port of Seattle is trying to polish its image with a new logo that reflects a greener identity.

The port this month unveiled a logo based on three colored bars of light blue, green and dark blue. The bars stand for air, land and sea. They also represent the Port''s three business divisions: aviation, real estate and the seaport.

The port says the bars also represent economic development, social responsibility and environmental stewardship - what it calls the three components of sustainability.
