What do you find at Southeast High School in Lincoln, NE? 1 A mascot named for a retired athletic director. 2 A principal who often totes the school's spirit flag to lead one of the school's teams onto the field. 3 A winning tradition forged by 88 state championships in 40 years. What you won't find: one-sport athletes, one-sport coaches, academic-athletic rivalries.

Over the past 10 years, the Southeast "Knights" have built a Camelot in Lincoln, Nebraska. Seven times since 1985, they have finished atop the all-sports standings compiled by the Omaha-Herald - while winning at least one state championship for 20 straight years.
