The present level of teaching salaries and coaching stipends is on the rise

The sports world is a much different place than it was 10 years ago when the Ronald Reagan-George Bush team was running the White House: a hole was discovered in the ozone layer, the Soviet Union was boycotting the Olympics, and Georgetown was shocking Houston's Phi Slamma Jamma to win the NCAA basketball championship.
