The training of the volleyball setter is predicated upon several basic factors, including the system for which it is intended, the quality of the individual, and, of course, the philosophy of the coach.

The coach and the player must work together on the program, as it makes no sense to adopt a system that was developed for someone else. The program has to be based on the strengths, weaknesses, and needs of your own athlete.

The joint efforts of the coach and player will ensure the most efficient approach to the athlete's needs.
