Almost three dozen Duke MBA students are in hot water for a cheating scandal at the Fuqua School of Business.
A professor noticed similarities in answers on the open-book take-home exam, which was to be done individually. After an investigation, Duke found that students violated the school's honor code by collaborating on the exam.
Nine students now face expulsion, 15 were suspended for a year and given an "F" in the course and one failed the exam. The students are likely to appeal the decisions.
