They called him Poison Ivo, Tubular Tommy, Instant Ivo, but the one that stuck was "TV Tommy'' IVO, because of the TV appearances he made before he turned to racing full-time. He was the ultimate showman and was among the first to figure that if one engine was good, two were better, and four were even better than that.
