Reality Dawns, but It's Too Late
"Oh $#!^, oh $#!^, I've lost my job, everything!''
So proclaimed British driver Tim Brady, 33, immediately after police busted him for driving a Porsche 911 Turbo-"borrowed'' from the rental-car company he worked for-at 172 mph. Brady, who normally toiled behind the wheel of a delivery truck, was sentenced to 10 weeks in jail and lost his driver's license for three years. He'll have to take solace that he is the fastest driver ever clocked in Britain. According to the Guardian, the record was held previously by car dealer Jason McAllister, whom police caught traveling 156 mph in a BMW M3 in 2003.
