ITV's marketing chief David Pemsel is not wasting any time; having ruled the Dare/Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy combo out of the running last week, he's struck Beattie McGuinness Bungay off the shortlist this week.

The pitch, which is being overseen by the AAR, is now being contested by Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Mother and DDB London.

Also being handled by the AAR, Kerry Foods is expected to announce a result next week. BMB, VCCP and Isobel are competing for the pounds 5 million account, which covers the Wall's and Richmond Pork Sausages brands.

Meanwhile, Dyson has reduced its list to two contenders; Leagas Delaney and Wieden & Kennedy are going head to head.
