If luxury hybrid sounds like an oxymoron, you haven't seen the latest models. Both Audi and Mercedes-Benz plan to launch models for the 2008 season: Audi will start production of an SUV with a solar-panel sunroof and Mercedes-Benz will introduce a "mild hybrid" adaptation of its S-class sedan.
