Oct. 1--TOKYO -- Will there be any changes in service at post offices across Japan under the just-started process of privatizing the state-run postal system over a 10-year period?
There may be few big changes in the initial stage. But Japanese individual investors will at least have to rethink where they should put their money as the privatization has deprived postal savings of the myth of safety backed by the government, analysts say.
