MEPC goes industrial: developer plans 1 million square feet in new projects. (MEPC American Properties Inc.)
MEPC American Properties Inc. has mapped out a series of new industrial projects around the Metroplex that could total more than 1 million square feet - and present Alliance Airport with new competition for the largest customers in the market.
Most of MEPC's construction plans lie in Freeport North, a 178-acre business park in Coppell that Trademark Capital Investments President Terry Montesi and Philip Williams of Emerson Partners teamed up to buy from Vista Properties Inc. late last year.
Freeport North has had streets and utilities since 1985, when James M. Brown Co. developed the park, but nothing ever has been built there. MEPC plans to be the first, and …
