Sep. 29--What would you do with a million bottle caps?
First of all, you'd have to find a pretty big space to put them, like a schoolyard. Then, you'd throw a big party around the huge mound of caps, singing goofy songs and celebrating the achievement of gathering so many.
That's exactly what the 545 students at Benjamin Bubb Elementary School in Mountain View did Friday after recently hitting their goal of gathering 1 million bottle caps, some from as far away as Afghanistan and Iraq.
