Sep. 23--Eastover Elementary School has about 530 students in a facility built for 418. Cotswold Elementary School has about 510 students in a facility meant to handle 572.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials hope to balance those numbers by adjusting the school boundary lines, and that will be the subject of a public meeting Monday night at Eastover Elementary School.
It's the first of two meetings designed to get public reaction to the proposed changes.
