NetWare administrators can now take advantage of resources on the Internet without losing control of end-users' access rights with a product shipping this week from InternetWare Inc.

Unlike existing Internet access solutions from Novell Inc. and other TCP/IP providers, IWare Connect is a server-based solution that does not require complicated configuration of IP addresses, gateways, and domain name services at each workstation on a NetWare LAN.

Novell's LANWorkplace is a server-based TCP/IP access product, but it requires each workstation to be equipped with a TCP/IP stack and to be configured for direct Internet access.
