Sep. 14--Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools reported three more confirmed diagnoses of MRSA today, bringing the district's total number of cases of the drug-resistant staph infection to ten.
Six of those cases were reported in the last five days. Cabarrus County Schools officials also reported a confirmed case in a student at Rocky River Middle School.
In Mecklenburg, a staff member at Allenbrook Elementary was seen by a doctor and treated.
