Sep. 14--It's just the third game of the season, but Lake Taylor is looking at tonight's contest as if it were the playoffs.

And why not? The 2-0 Titans are traveling to Northern Virginia to play C.D. Hylton, which has won three Group AAA Division 6 state titles since 1998, the last in 2002. Last season was the first time the Bulldogs missed the playoffs since 1997.

"They have tradition," Titans coach Hank Sawyer said. "And we thought it would be a good experience to take the kids out of town."

He also thought playing Hylton would help prepare his team mentally for taking on a playoff-caliber program.
