Sep. 13--An Apollo High School student was charged with third-degree criminal mischief Wednesday after law enforcement and school officials said he admitted writing threatening messages with racial slurs on walls in two boys' bathrooms at the school Monday night.
The 15-year-old boy also has been suspended pending completion of the investigation by the school resource officer and the assistant principal, said Tom Shelton, superintendent of Daviess County Public Schools.
School resource officer Paul Gatewood said the juvenile was acting suspiciously outside one of the bathrooms in question. The deputy had just checked that…
