Sep. 6--Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has posted boundary proposals for five new elementary and two new middle schools opening in the north, northwestern and northeastern parts of Mecklenburg County in the coming two years.
Schools that could be affected by the new boundaries include Blythe, David Cox Road, Highland Creek, Long Creek, Mallard Creek, Mountain Island, Paw Creek, Pawtuckett and Torrence Creek elementaries, as well as Alexander, Coulwood, Martin, Ranson and Wilson middles.
