SEOUL, Sept. 3 Asia Pulse - South Korea will send a fact-finding team to three Central African countries this week to explore cooperation in natural resources development, the government said Sunday.
The 12-person team, made up of officials from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and state-run companies including the Korea National Oil Corp., the Korea Resources Corp. and the Korea Electric Power Corp., will visit Gabon, Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"These three countries are known to have sizeable deposits of natural resources and want to build up their industrial and social infrastructure," said a ministry official. The trip is to take place from Monday to Sept. 15.
