Sep. 1--As the new school year approaches, many Eastside schools are in the midst of rebuilding, remodeling or constructing schools.
Others, facing enrollment increases, will begin reconfiguring school-attendance boundaries. Three districts will begin the school year with a new superintendent.
Bellevue, Lake Washington, Mercer Island, Northshore and Riverview begin classes Tuesday; Issaquah and Snoqualmie Valley start the following day.
Here's a look at what's ahead this year for each district:
Bellevue
Woodridge Elementary School is celebrating its grand opening in September after being renovated last school year.
