Aug. 30--For some Catalina Foothills High School students, physical education takes on a whole different dimension.
Teacher Julie Walters aims to give her students vital skills they will need to know in class and later in life -- skills such as problem solving, teamwork, trust, respect, communication and integrity.
Walters gives those words meaning and applies them in her Challenge Ropes Course at the school at 4300 E. Sunrise Drive.
"Climbing is a component of the course," said Walters, 46, "but the class offers the opportunity to do a lot more than just climb."
