Suited for AdvancedTCA carrier blades, MicroTCA systems, or proprietary network platforms, LTC4223 dual supply Hot Swap(TM) controller provides independently controlled turn-on and shutdown of 12 V main and 3.3 V auxiliary supply rails. Fault output alerts host processor if overcurrent fault has occurred on either supply and VCC pin decouples IC supply from faults on 3.3 V rail. Gate-source clamp protects external MOSFET from hard shorts on output.
