Aug. 28--ARLINGTON -- When fifth-grade teacher Danny Bowlin stands in the doorway of Room 308 at Morton Elementary School, he sees a familiar face next door.

His son, Devin Bowlin, 30, happens to be the fifth-grade teacher in Room 309.

"The kids get us all mixed up," said Danny Bowlin, 58.

Students across the state returned to school Monday, and at Morton they were greeted by two sets of teachers who are related: the Bowlins, and the mother-daughter duo of Maria Duran-Lesslie and Marissa Martinez Soeun.

"We think it's so neat," said Jana Singleton Martin, assistant principal at Morton. "Students think it's fun that even teachers have their mothers and fathers at school."
