Aug. 25--Charlotte's Kaitlin Coble won the second runner-up spot in the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant Friday night on NBC. Miss Teen Colorado, Hilary Carol Cruz, 18, took the top spot.

Also in the Top 5 was Miss Teen South Carolina, Lauren Caitlin Upton, 18, of Lexington, who was named third runner-up.

Coble, 17, is the daughter of Scott and Wendy Coble and a student at Providence High. She is the third Charlotte-area teen in three years to compete in the pageant, and the second to make the Top 5. Last year, Concord's Melissa Lingafelt made it all the way to runner up.…
