Tate & Lyle has launched a range of dietary fibers under the Promitor brand, and will have the product on-hand at the upcoming IFT Show. The average adult diet in the United States does not contain the daily recommended intake of fiber, the company says. Current intake for men and women ranges from 12 to 16 grams per day, whereas 25 grams per day for women and 38 grams per day for men is recommended.
