Aug. 23--TROUTMAN -- The late Pat Horn taught thousands of kids for more than 32 years in the Iredell County school system.
But her legacy may have been just as great at home, where all five daughters continue to pursue the same passion their mom did. They'll be at the head of their classrooms when school bells ring across the county next week.
Katheryn Rogers, Lynn Hoover and triplets Karen Lail, Karol Leaptrott and Kay Brown followed their mom into the same profession and school system, now the Iredell-Statesville Schools.
