Aug. 21--Turns out Nike had it right in those commercials. The Michael Vick Experience is a frightening, jarring, wild ride.

Vick's fall from grace has been stunning in its swiftness. Viewed just a few seasons ago as the new savior of the NFL, Vick's lawyers said Monday that the quarterback will plead guilty next week to federal dogfighting charges.

He will be going to prison. He will almost certainly be cut by the Atlanta Falcons, once the team figures out how to recoup some of the $130 million contract they lavished on Vick. And he will face a lengthy ban by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
